I have always been fascinated by wildlife and the natural world, and love spending time with wildlife, large or small, in its natural environment. I got my first 'proper' camera when I was still at school in 1996 and began taking nature photographs at home and on family holidays. Many years later, I still find both inspiration and relaxation in nature photography, escaping from the fast pace of modern human life and maintaining a connection with the natural world.

Photographing wildlife has taken me to some areas of outstanding natural beauty and inevitably I have also developed an interest in landscape photography. I feel that the landscape and surroundings are an important part of the story, and I particularly enjoy capturing images where wildlife can be seen in its natural environment. I hope that by sharing my photographs and videos, I can help to show the beauty of nature to others and reinforce the need for conservation and a greater respect for our natural surroundings.
